We are Coming Back!

I just wanted to write to all of my many readers (all 2 of you) and let you know that I have not abandoned the blog all together, just temporarily. We have a lot going on with our big move this weekend. We will return with updates on Monday August 3rd with lots of pictures and stuff to read. See you then!!

After a Long Day...

Ryan turned one today. We had a party for him yesterday and it was great. I hope everyone had fun. I appreciate everyone driving all the way out for us and I know Ryan will look back at the pictures one day and smile! Thanks for all the great gifts...and a special thanks to the people that got him the lawn mowers that pop! I'm hearing them in my sleep.

A Long, Long Time

It has been a long time. Its hard to sit down and write about all of the stuff that's going on in my life, I have been just too busy just trying to make it through. Work is crazy. Its hard to function in the summer on a 35 year old property. At one point last week we had 11 A/c unit that were completely inoperable. I think we were up to 114 on Monday.

Its no secret that we are moving. We are hoping to find a place by the middle of August and be completely moved by September. We plan on taking our time. I don't want this move to add any additional, unwanted, stress to the situation. We have been fighting with our lender for almost a year, and I think we put up a good fight. We just cant do it anymore. Its time to start moving on. Hopefully they will just allow the deed in lieu of foreclosure, but if the last 11 months is any kind of example of what could happen...they can just have the house back. Burn it down for all we care! As I look at multiple properties, I am starting to realize that I am either overly obsessed with a clean house or just a snob. They want 1100 for rent, but the houses are dirty and small! If your baseboards are dirty, the house isn't clean. We have to live in either Chandler or Ahwatukee...no exceptions. I told you, I'm a snob.

Ryan is turning 1 this weekend and I'm so excited for him. He has started on regular milk and we are slowly getting rid of the bottles. He is helping to dispose of the bottle by throwing them at the ground as hard as he can from an elevated seat, like a shopping cart, and watching them explode. Awesome.

He is growing up so fast. I am so proud to be his mother. He amazes me more and more everyday. I pray for another one when the time is right. I am definitely ready, once we get out from underneath this house!
